1990 Fairline Sprint 21

1990 Fairline Sprint 21, 3 berth GRP day cruiser which was re-fitted in 2003 with a Mercruiser 4.3L / 220hp and Bravo III outdrive. Sea toilet, Calorifer hot water, fresh water holding tank, shore power and battery charging system. 'Sea Bird' was surveyed in December 2021 and the survey is available for inspection on request.

'Sea Bird' has three berths, a forward V-berth and an under cockpit berth, Calorifer hot water, Neptune two burner grill and hob, refridgerator, dinette table, a Jabsco sea toilet and a fresh water storage tank of 15 gallons / 68 litres. The cockpit is fitted with a Lowrance Elite FS9 9" Chart Plotter & Fishfinder, a Lowrance 3300C 5" GPS Chart Plotter and Marine VHF radio. An auxilliary Mariner 6hp outboard provides additional backup or slow cruising power. 'Sea Bird' is also equipped with shore power and a battery charger.

The Fairline Sprint has a variable V hull with a 16 degree deadrise aft; the deep V forward gives a soft entry into seas and ensures good seakeeping in heavy weather. The full length moulded spray deflectors and pronounced chine knuckle keep the boat dry and increase the lift for good planing performance.

All glass fibre construction throughout, the Sprint is laminated by hand using isophthalic gelcoat and orthophtalic resins. An extensive network of longitudinal and transverse stringers glassed in to the hull strengthen all stress areas, and the deck construction is an end grain balsa and GRP sandwich. Deck and hull are bolted and bonded together and all bulkheads are timber faced with a teak veneer.
